A Training Home, Not Just a Gym
Radius Martial Arts Academy isn't just a gym — it's a training home. Founded in 2015 by Travis Passaro, a 2nd-degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Master Luigi Mondelli and a Black Belt under Eddie Bravo, Radius was built on one principle: martial arts should be taught with integrity, structure, and purpose.
What started as a small training space has grown into Fairfield County's most reviewed martial arts academy, with 155+ five-star reviews and students traveling from Westport, Norwalk, Trumbull, Easton, and Bridgeport to train here.

My son has been training at Radius Martial Arts for the past 6 years in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai. What started as a martial arts program has become much more than that. The family-like atmosphere has helped him develop not only his athletic skills but also important life values such as respect, discipline, focus.
Trained Muay Thai here for a couple of months, Tom and Travis are excellent coaches and really pay attention to the detail of the movements. I’ve fought about 5 times in amateur and this is a great place to learn and grow your Muay Thai career, but also if you just want to just learn Muay Thai this is a great gym for learning the basics, many thanks for all the lessons, I definitely will be back!
I had zero experience with Martial Arts before joining Radius Martial Arts Academy, and I’ll admit I was a bit nervous stepping into the gym. But from the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by everyone. It felt more like joining a group of friends than meeting a bunch of strangers. The instructors were incredibly supportive and skilled at helping me get started, making each session enjoyable and rewarding.
From the moment I stepped into the gym I felt welcomed. I was greeted with a smile and was encouraged to go at the pace that I desired. All the students are very kind and always willing to help. I found the instructors to be really great, caring, funny, and good people. My experience have been 2 thumbs up and I’m happy I found this place.
